Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, is world famous for its well preserved city centre which became a world heritage site in 1997. During the Euro 2008, the Salzburg festival will also take place which is a great highlight. There are many hotels to choose from in this alpine town.
The Salzburg Stadion Salzburg Wals-Siezenheim has room for 30,000 people and is located right next to the Salzburg airport, 10 kilometres from the city centre. Finding a hotel in Salzburg shouldn’t be a problem as it’s the fourth largest city in Austria.
